@ZJoggarNZ So, the whole game is shit because it has Spyro on it? Not because of the gameplay or graphics or anything important, just Spyro being in it completely ruins what most critics are calling a brilliantly thought out and original game? Gotcha.
@MBGamingLegends They cancelled the movie because it was almost certainly going to bomb, and Activision and Toys for Bob wanted to take the series in a different direction.

and Skylanders has received reviews just as great as the Insomniac titles. So no, it's far from shit and most of the haters are just raging about Spyro's character redesign, which isn't even as bad as it could have been. Just look up the original concept art the artist had for him and then tell me which one looks more like Spyro.
@jgowee Actually, a lot of the ps1 Spyro fans, including myself, really love this game. It is more geared towards kids, but it's still entertaining to older audiences just like the old Spyro's were. The toy idea was well thought out and executed. You only need one toy to complete the game and eight to unlock everything. Gameplay is fun, the graphics are decent, voice acting's great, the music is lively and similar to Stewart Copeland's
@Retro80Lady30 are we suppose to feel guilt that your daughter cannot get more toys because some adults like this game a lot too? I'll buy the game and the toys if I so choose, thanks. (which I have not done yet) Maybe tell your daughter to quit whining about it. Why IS she complaining if she's discovered she doesn't need the toys to beat the game? Leave this for the kids? Why not leave it for anyone wanting to play and willing to pay for it.
I'm a fan of the older Spyro games and yes this game looks like crap to me too. Spyro looks ridiculous and the game seems to be geared towards little kids (little boys in particular) whereas the older Spyro games were cool because the character design seemed better suited for a broader age range. Have any of you other Spyro fans played this game? I want to know what a die-hard Spyro fan thinks of this game, not just what they think it looks like, because of course to us it LOOKS like shit.
This game looks like corny shit now! It was better on the Play Station version. Kids 6-10 are such dumb asses and bitches these days!

I think this looks like a cute - but expensive
- game. I loved the original Spyro games on the playstation and this is nothing like those, but that doesn't turn me off from the game.

@TheLordDialga Activision says they didn't anticipate the popularity so january will be small shipments but they said they are working hard at the manufacturers trying to get enough stock to match demand in february and it shouldn't be as rough.
@MegaShadow177 I really dig the elf once you get her trained up she just mows things down love the magic blades when she does her acrobatics she looks kinda like a throwing star
